Really Flash and Snazzy

The Problem —

First Impressions are
a make or break moment

Hunter and Wolf is an event and lifestyle photographer based in Perth, Western Australia. The brainchild of Shannon Skinner, her love for photography began when she picked up her first her first silver Olympus digital camera at age 8. After being obsessed with documenting life, printing off all her photos from Kmart and hanging them on my bedroom wall over her formative years. In 2017 she finally decided to turn her hobby into a career and pursue it professionally: she trusted photographer for events big and small, she provides the best service to her clients and is praised for her personality and enthusiasm.

Photographers are often hired for the important moments in life; A white dress billowing in the wind, the sight of a birthday girl wearing a tiara and a sash and buffet tables laden with food that no one will eat because they’re too busy networking. These events are milestones in her client’s lives, these moments matter. So the challenge is to focus on the energy of these moments, the warmth and fun Shannon brings to these events and the professionalism and trust she’s built over seven years

The Process —

Moments that Matter

No two events are the same and Shannon has a genuine love of capturing the spirit and atmosphere of each event. She has an interest and love for people! That’s why she captures emotions, moments and stories with the camera in her hand. Striving to create a relaxed, fun, yet highly professional atmosphere on every photography assignment. So we brought that into the brand, communicating professionalism with warmth, personality and finesse with a clean and compact typographic system with energetic imagery at the forefront rolling out through all the brand touch points.

The core touch point of this project was building out the website which now manages her bookings, listing her services and hosts her client portal. Prior to this she was doing this manually juggle several different services and long and tedious onboarding emails. Streamlining this was the first part of the brand we tackled looking to refine, retouch and simply her services and make navigation a breeze when viewing her website. Faster load times, smooth animations and taking effort and care to extend the users engagement across the the user journey before the user hits the conversion points.
